Libyan Economy Minister Mohamed al-Huwaij met with Ahmed al-Ghazali, Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Libya, the local partner of the organizer of the Energy and Economy Summit, Energy, Capital & Power Company, to be held in Tripoli on November 8-9, 2023.
The Minister expressed his readiness to support this summit to produce positive results.
The dialogue touched on the important role of the oil sector in its various fields in contributing to the economy, as the oil sectors and petroleum derivatives industries are diverse and contribute significantly to creating job opportunities and investments in many fields.
Al-Ghazali stated that there is no doubt that the Ministry in this summit plays an important role and will serve as an encouragement for companies and an important support for the summit.
He expressed his hope that there will be new laws that give investors greater advantages and aim to attract foreign companies to invest in the Libyan market and enhance the status of the Libyan market as an important destination for investment.
