The FSB Border Department Announced the Fall of a Light-Engine Ukrainian Aircraft in the Bryansk Region and the Detention of the Pilot

In the Klintsovsky district of the Bryansk region, a Ukrainian light aircraft crashed, the pilot was detained, RBC reports , citing the border department of the FSB in the region. No other details of the incident were reported by the border service.

The pro-government telegram channel Mash published a photo, allegedly of a Ukrainian pilot. The pro-Kremlin telegram channel SHOT, citing sources , writes that the Aeroprakt A-22 aircraft was shot down from small arms, as a result, the pilot had to make an emergency landing.

Baza claims that “next to the plane itself, the security forces found automatic weapons, ammunition and body armor sprinkled with earth.” In a video posted on his Telegram channel, the man said that he was not a military pilot, but a civilian and was on a mission to take a photo. According to the pilot, he did not know that he was on the territory of Russia, since the tablet issued to him was out of order.

The man at the end of the video also gives his name – Alexander Morozov. “Agency” writes that this is the real name of the pilot. Present Time told about him in 2018. Together with other volunteers from the Kharkiv region, he created an “air ambulance” and delivered doctors to the sick in remote villages.

Morozov said that at the age of 50 he decided to learn how to fly. I went through training, bought myself a small plane. Then one plane was not enough for him, and he decided to build an airfield and fly from it for his own pleasure.

The Ukrainian side has not yet commented on the incident.

The Bryansk region borders on Ukraine and Belarus. From Bryansk to the Ukrainian border in a straight line – 110 kilometers, along the highway – 173.
