Details : The Ombudsman clarified that the Russians deported the guy to the Russian Federation from the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region.
Direct speech : “At the beginning of the year, my grandmother turned to me with a request to assist in the return of her grandson Artem, who, along with other pupils of the Oleshkovsky orphanage in the Kherson region, was deported to the Russian Federation.
The applicant said that as soon as she learned that the pupils of the indicated boarding school were being taken to the Russian Federation, she personally went to the institution to pick up her grandson.
However, Artem, along with other pupils at that time, had already been transferred to the territory of the Russian Federation, from there to the temporarily occupied Crimea, and then to the city of Skadovsk.
However, the administration of the institution where Artem was staying refused to return the child.”
Details: Lubinets said that at his request in February, the grandmother was appointed a trustee over her grandson. According to him, in addition, “other measures were taken to return the child to the territory controlled by Ukraine.”
